Katepal Antiroot
Katepal Antiroot is a torch-on, TL2-classified root-barrier membrane for green roofs. It has a grey granule finish and a 100 mm overlapping seam on the top surface. Underneath it is fully coated with torch-on bitumen under a thin plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal Antiroot is a TL2-classified cap sheet for root protection in green roofs (EN 13948:2000). It has a fibreglass-reinforced polyester fabric reinforcement layer and a grey-granule finish. The bottom surface has torch-on bitumen covered by a meltable protective plastic film. The product should be fully bonded onto the underlay membrane.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
