Katepal Balcony Underlay Sheet
Katepal Balcony underlay membrane has adhesive strips on the bottom and a bitumen surface on the top, both covered with protective plastic film. On the top surface of one edge and the bottom surface of the opposite edge there is a 100 mm wide adhesive strip.

Field of use
Katepal Balcony underlay is designed for installation on small low-slope building elements with external drainage, such as balconies and small roofs. The product must always be used with the Balcony cap sheet, using their shared adhesive system for strong bonding between the layers. When used together, they achieve VE80 waterproofing classification without the need for hot work. Katepal Balcony underlay is TL2 classified and should be installed on solid substrates.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
