Katepal Eaves and Ridge Shingles
Katepal Eaves and Ridge shingle is designed as both the first shingle layer for eaves and a ridge shingle for the roof ridge. It has a coloured-granule finish and the underneath is coated in sand with an adhesive layer under protective plastic film.

Instructions and Materials
Field of use
Katepal Eaves and Ridge shingle is used under the first layer of shingles at the eaves and as ridge shingles at the roof ridge. Each sheet can be torn along the perforations to make three ridge shingles. The product should be attached to the substrate with roofing nails or flat-headed screws, roofing nails must penetrate through the substrate. Instructions can be found on the product’s plastic packaging and in the installation guide. The minimum installation temperature is +5°C.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found on our website katepal.fi
