Katepal Foundation strip
Katepal Foundation strip is a bitumen membrane strip with either a fine sand or granule finish on the top and either torch-on bitumen or sand underneath. It is available in various widths and lengths.

Field of use
Katepal Foundation strip is used for moisture proofing and preventing capillary water rise, particularly between the foundation and the bottom plate of a wood-frame construction. The strip is mechanically secured using the fasteners of the structure above it.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked.
