Katepal K-70 is a black bitumen solution for moisture protection on concrete and similar surfaces as an alternative to hot bitumen. For outdoor use only. BIL 80/85.

Field of use
Katepal K-70 Bitumen Solution is used for moisture protection. Surfaces should be cleaned and pre-treated with Katepal K-80 primer. To achieve a water-resistant finish, at least two coats of Katepal K-70 Bitumen Solution should then be applied using a brush or roller. Each coat must dry completely before applying the next one. The coverage per coat is 0.6–1.0 l/m². Stains and tools can be cleaned mechanically using white spirit or mineral turpentine.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored in dry conditions away from direct sunlight and heat. Products should be handled with care before installation. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found on each pallet. Dispose of empty packaging and dried product in landfill. Fresh product waste is hazardous and must be disposed of in accordance with legislation.
