Katepal K-80 is a black bitumen-based primer for improved adhesion. BIL 20/85.

Field of use
Katepal K-80 Bitumen Solution is used to improve adhesion when installing torch-on bitumen products on concrete surfaces. It is also used as a primer under K-70 and K-50 products. Clean and, if necessary, dry the surfaces to be treated. Apply one coat of K-80 Bitumen Solution using a brush, roller or spray. The surface must be completely dry before further treatment. The coverage is 0.2–0.4 l/m². Stains and tools can be cleaned mechanically using white spirit or mineral turpentine.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored in dry conditions away from direct sunlight and heat. Products should be handled with care before installation. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found on each pallet. Dispose of empty packaging and dried product in landfill. Fresh product waste is hazardous and must be disposed of in accordance with legislation.
