Katepal K-ES
Katepal K-ES is a hot bitumen-adhered, TL3-classified underlay membrane with fine sand on both top and bottom surfaces. It has a carrier of fiberglass-reinforced polyester fabric.

Field of use
Katepal K-ES is a TL3-classified underlay for multi-layer roof applications. It should either be adhered fully or at specific points on the substrate using hot bitumen. The product has a polyester fabric reinforcement layer and its top and bottom surface are coated with fine sand. Katepal K-ES meets Broof(t2) requirements for tested structures when used with classified Katepal membranes.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
