Katepal K-ES AL
Katepal K-ES AL is a bitumen-adhered, BHA2-classified vapour barrier membrane with fine sand on both top and bottom surfaces. The reinforcement layer is fiberglass-reinforced polyester fabric with aluminium foil.

Field of use
Katepal K-ES AL is a BHA2-classified vapour barrier membrane for demanding conditions. It can either be adhered fully or at specific points on the substrate. It has fine sand on both top and bottom surfaces, and an aluminium laminate in the reinforcement layer to enhance its vapour barrier properties.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
