Katepal K-MS 170/3500
Katepal K-MS 170/3500 is a torch-on, TL2-classified underlay membrane with bitumen on the top surface. Underneath it has torch-on bitumen under a thin meltable protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal K-MS 170/3500 is a TL2-classified underlay and intermediate layer for multi-layer roof applications, foundation waterproofing, and as a bonding layer in pass-through installations. It has a polyester fabric reinforcement layer and should either be welded fully or at specific points on the substrate. K-MS 170/3500 meets Broof(t2) requirements for tested structures.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
