Katepal K-MS 170/4000 Green
Katepal K-MS 170/4000 Green is a torch-on, TL2-classified underlay membrane with fine sand on the top surface and a 100 mm wide overlapping seam. On the bottom surface it has torch-on bitumen under a thin meltable protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal K-MS 170/4000 Green is a TL2-classified underlay and intermediate layer for multi-layer roof applications. It has a polyester fabric reinforcement layer and should either be welded fully or at specific points on the substrate. K-MS 170/4000 Green meets Broof(t2) requirements for tested structures. It is part of the Katepal Green product family, meaning it is manufactured using renewable raw materials.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
