Katepal K-MS 170/4500
Katepal K-MS 170/4500 is a fully torch-on underlay sheet of TL2 classification. It has a fine sand on the top and torch-on bitumen under a thin meltable protective film on the bottom surface. The top surface of the product includes a 100 mm wide overlapping seam.

Field of use
Katepal K-MS 170/4500 is an underlay sheet for multi-layer roof applications. It is fully or partially torched onto the substrate. K-MS 170/4500 meets TL2 product class requirements, and its reinforcement layer consists of polyester fabric. The membrane’s top surface is coated with fine sand. The bottom surface has torch-on bitumen protected by a meltable plastic film. K-MS 170/4500 meets Broof(t2) requirements for tested structures with classified Katepal membranes
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored protected from direct sunlight and moisture. The products should be handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position. Rolls transported in a horizontal position should be stored upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked on top of each other. Pay attention to safe lifting: lifting instructions for the pallets can be found on each pallet (QR code on the plastic wrap of the pallet).
