Katepal K-PS hot bonding SL is used as a top sheet of bridges waterproofing. The product meets the requirements of Väylävirasto and has a SILKO class. The product is attached by hot bitumen and has fine sand on underside and granule on upperside.

Field of use
Katepal K-PS hot bonding SL is a cap sheet for bridges. It is fully bonded onto the underlay with hot bitumen. Katepal K-PS hot bonding SL meets the requirements of Väylävirasto and has a SILKO class, and its reinforcement layer consists of fiberglass-reinforced polyester fabric. The membrane’s top surface is coated with colored granules and the bottom surface with fine sand.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored protected from direct sunlight and moisture. The products should be handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position. Rolls transported in a horizontal position should be stored upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked on top of each other. Pay attention to safe lifting: lifting instructions for the pallets can be found on each pallet (QR code on the plastic wrap of the pallet).
