Katepal K-PS torch-on SL is a torch-on cap sheet for bridge waterproofing. It meets the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s requirements and is SILKO classified. The product has a grey granule finish and underneath it has torch-on bitumen covered by a protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal K-PS torch-on SL is a cap sheet for bridge waterproofing. It has a fibreglass-reinforced polyester fabric carrier and a coloured-granule finish. The bottom surface has torch-on bitumen covered by a meltable protective plastic film. The product should be fully bonded onto the underlay membrane. Katepal K-PS torch-on SL meets the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s SILKO product requirements (SL).
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
