Katepal LiteBase 500
Katepal LiteBase 500 is an underlay membrane with polypropylene fabric on both top and bottom surfaces. On the top surface of one edge and the bottom surface of the opposite edge there is a 100 mm wide adhesive strip covered by a protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal LiteBase 500 is a fabric-covered underlay for solid substrates under metal and tile roofing (AKK1, minimum slope 1:10). With this installation method, the metal roofing can be installed directly onto the underlay without a ventilation gap. The product can also be installed between rafters (AKV, minimum slope 1:7). It should be mechanically fixed to the roof. The protective film on the top surface does not need to be removed during installation. The product is AKK1 and AKV classified.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
