Katepal Oxidized Bitumen BIP 100/25 is a bitumen compound for the hot bitumen bonding of bitumen membranes. Coverage varies based on application method, but it is approximately 1.5 kg/m² for full bonding, 0.5 kg/m² for spot and seam bonding, and 0.3 kg/m² for seam bonding. The product ensures a secure and long-lasting bond in roofing applications with bitumen membranes.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored in dry conditions away from direct sunlight and heat. Products should be handled with care before installation. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found on our website katepal.fi. Dispose of empty packaging and dried product in landfill. Fresh product waste is hazardous and must be disposed of in accordance with legislation.
