Katepal SteelBase
Katepal SteelBase is an underlay membrane with polyester fabric on both top and bottom surfaces. On the top surface of one edge and the bottom surface of the opposite edge there is a 100 mm wide adhesive strip covered by a protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal SteelBase is a strong and durable fabric-covered underlay for installation on solid substrates under metal and tile roofing. With this installation method, the metal roofing can be installed directly onto the underlay without a ventilation gap. The product should be mechanically fixed to the roof and is robust enough to protect the roof even over winter. The product is AKE classified.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
