Katepal Tupla FR
Katepal TUPLA FR is a torch-on, TL2-classified cap sheet with a coloured-granule finish and a 120 mm wide overlapping seam. On the bottom surface it has torch-on bitumen under a thin meltable protective plastic film. TUPLA FR has special fire-resistant properties.

Field of use
Katepal TUPLA FR is a TL2-classified cap sheet for multi-layer roofing. It has a fire-retardant fibreglass and polyester fabric reinforcement layer and a coloured-granule finish. The bottom surface has torch-on bitumen covered by a meltable protective plastic film. The product should be fully bonded onto the underlay membrane. TUPLA FR meets Broof(t2) requirements for tested structures.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
