Katepal XtraBase
Katepal XtraBase is an underlay membrane coated with fine sand on both the top and bottom surfaces. On the top surface of one edge and the bottom surface of the opposite edge there is a 100 mm wide adhesive strip under a protective plastic film.

Field of use
Katepal XtraBase is an AKK2-classified underlay membrane with adhesive edges for discontinuous roofs. It should be installed on solid substrates and mechanically fixed through the centre of the adhesive edge on the top surface. The final roof covering should be installed as soon as possible after laying the underlay membrane.
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
