Sopralast 50 TV ALU is a torch-on, unclassified cap sheet with a thin aluminum surface and an 80 mm wide overlapping seam. On the bottom surface it has torch-on bitumen under a thin meltable protective plastic film.

Field of use
Sopralast 50 TV ALU is an unclassified aluminium-surfaced cap sheet for multi-layer roofing. It has a fibreglass reinforcement layer and a thin aluminium surface finish. The bottom surface has torch-on bitumen covered by a meltable protective plastic film. The product should be fully bonded onto the underlay membrane. Sopraplast 50 TV ALU is used in surface fire barriers and applications requiring a high SRI index (88).
Handling and storage
Katepal products should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture and handled with care before installation. Roll products should be stored in an upright position – rolls transported horizontally should be turned upright after receiving the order. Pallets must not be stacked. Pay attention to safe lifting practices: pallet lifting instructions can be found via the QR code on the pallet’s plastic wrap.
